Versatility + Capability in Tumbleweed Racks

At Tumbleweed, we love integrating racks into our packing strategy because they allow for extra volume and weight carrying capacity for longer expeditions. Having one or two racks gives you much more flexibility — think of it like a pick up truck for your bike.

Our T and Mini Pannier Racks are all about versatility and capability. We use high quality chromoly steel in their construction, with strategically varied tubing wall thicknesses to optimize weight and strength.

We designed our racks to work on the front or rear of most bikes that have standard upper and lower threaded rack mounts. Our racks feature triple bosses on the sides to mount a variety of bottle or cargo cages, as well as several light mounts for front or rear lights.

The T Rack is designed as a minimalist option for attaching a dry bag to the top platform as a substitute for a traditional seat bag, allowing the use of a dropper seatpost. It can also be used up front to act as a lightweight handlebar bag support rack with headlight mounting options.

The Mini Pannier Rack has the same use cases as the T Rack as well as featuring a second vertical leg which provides a stable area to attach pannier bags with only a 60 gram weight penalty.
